How to record an Auto-Attendant / IVR

In order to record the Auto-Attendant you will need a phone that is registered on the telephone system. Keep in mind that you can record the Auto-Attendant from any phone.

 

If you know the extension of the Auto-Attendant you can record it by using *98xxx √ (xxx is the account of the attendant)

 

If you do not know the extension of the Auto-Attendant you can contact support and they will provide it for you.

 

When recording the attendant the system will prompt you when to start recording. Once the system prompt is finished you can speak into the handset. To finish recording you need to press the X key.

 

Note: Do not hang up the call by putting the handset down as the Auto-Attendant will record that background noise.
