The hold and resume functions on your Grandstream phone allow you to easily manage your calls by placing them on hold and resuming the conversation when ready.
How to Place a Call on Hold
During an active call, press the Hold button on your Grandstream phone.
- The call will be placed on hold, and the caller will hear hold music (if enabled by your system admin).

Your phone display will indicate that the call is on hold, and the corresponding line key will change to reflect the hold status.
How to Resume a Held Call
- To return to the held call, press the Hold button again or select the call from the line key and press Resume.
- You will be immediately reconnected with the caller.

Managing Multiple Held Calls
You can hold multiple calls by pressing Hold during each active call. To resume any of these calls, simply select the call from the display or line key and press Resume.
Switching between held calls is easy—just select the desired call from the screen or line buttons and hit Resume.
