Transferring Calls Codes (*77)

Our system supports two types of call transfers: blind transfer and attended transfer. These can be executed using the Transfer button on your phone or specific star codes.

Blind Transfer

A blind transfer allows you to transfer a call without knowing whether the receiving party will be available. This method is useful for transferring calls to voicemail or another phone.

How to Perform a Blind Transfer:

  1. Press the Transfer button on your phone or press Hold and dial *77.
  2. Enter the extension number or phone number of the recipient.

Note:

  • A blind transfer does not provide confirmation of call connectivity. If the number is busy, non-existent, or unanswered, you will not be notified.

Attended Transfer

An attended transfer involves speaking with the recipient before transferring the call to ensure they are available to take it.

How to Perform an Attended Transfer:

  1. Put the caller on hold using the Hold button on your phone. The call on hold will be displayed on the LCD screen.
  2. Enter the destination number, then press the checkmark button.
  3. Once the receiving party is ready to take the call, press the Transfer button twice:
    • The first press connects the call.
    • The second press clears the music, allowing the parties to speak.

Alternative Method:

  • If your phone does not have a Transfer button, you can use *77 to transfer the call.
  • You do not need to press the Hold button again to free the call.

If the Recipient is Unavailable:

  • If the recipient cannot take the call, press the Hold button to reclaim the call and discuss alternative options with the caller.

By using these methods, you can efficiently manage call transfers. If you need further assistance or have any questions, please contact our support team.
