Set Night Mode for Domain Accounts (*80)

The Night Mode feature allows users to forward domain accounts (e.g., auto attendant, hunt group, etc.) to their own extension during designated hours, such as after-hours or during specific periods of reduced availability.

Before Using Night Mode:

  • Ensure that permissions for each account (auto attendant, hunt group, etc.) have been activated by the administrator. Permissions can be configured from the extension's Permissions tab.

How to Use Night Mode:

  • Forward All Accounts:

    • Dial *80 without specifying an extension. This will forward all auto attendants, hunt groups, and agent groups of the domain to your extension.
  • Forward Specific Account:

    • Dial *80 followed by the specific account identifier (e.g., auto attendant number, hunt group number). This will forward only the specified account to your extension.

How to Disable Night Mode:

  • To disable Night Mode for all accounts, enter a star (*) in place of the call forward number after dialing *80.

By utilizing Night Mode, users can ensure that calls directed to domain accounts are forwarded to their extension during specific periods, optimizing communication management.
