The Retrieve Call From Cell Phone (*51) feature allows users to pick up an ongoing cell phone call on their office extension phone. This feature is particularly useful for seamlessly transitioning calls between devices while minimizing cellular usage.

Usage Scenario: Imagine you're on your way to the office and need to make a client call. You initiate an outbound call through the system's Personal Virtual Assistant from your cell phone. During your commute, you converse with the client. Upon arriving at your office, you decide to continue the call on your office phone.

Steps to Transfer a Cell Phone Call to Your Extension:

  1. Initiate the Outbound Call:

    • From your cell phone, dial into the main number of the PBX associated with your account.
    • Navigate through the Personal Virtual Assistant menu and select option 1 for "outbound call."
    • Enter the destination number followed by the # key to place the call.
  2. Retrieve the Call on Your Office Phone:

    • Once you're ready to transfer the call to your office phone, dial *51 from your office phone.
  3. Connection and Usage:

    • The call will seamlessly transfer to your office phone. Your cell phone connection will disconnect automatically, ensuring that no further cellular minutes are consumed.

By utilizing (*51), you can efficiently manage calls across devices, optimizing communication flexibility and reducing cellular usage.
