The intercom feature allows direct communication between two phones, but it needs to be enabled by our support team before use.
Step 1: Requesting Intercom Setup
The intercom feature must be requested and enabled within the system during configuration. Please contact Vantact Support by emailing support@vantact.com or calling (416) 342-1690 (option 2 for support) to set up the intercom feature.
Step 2: Using the Intercom
Once the feature is enabled:
- The person initiating the intercom call will dial the designated intercom code or press the pre-made button.
- The receiving person will see an incoming intercom call on their Yealink phone.
- Important: The person receiving the intercom call will need to press the Answer soft key to start the intercom conversation.
This feature streamlines communication but requires setup by our team to ensure everything works correctly.
