The intercom feature allows for direct communication between two phones, and it needs to be enabled by our support team before use.
Step 1: Requesting Intercom Setup
The intercom feature must be requested and enabled within the system. You can also ask our support team to create a dedicated button for this intercom code on your Grandstream phone. Please contact Vantact Support by emailing support@vantact.com or calling (416) 342-1690 (option 2 for support) to set up the intercom feature.
Step 2: Using the Intercom
Once the feature is enabled:
- The person initiating the intercom call will dial the designated intercom code.
- For Grandstream phones, the call will automatically answer, allowing immediate communication without the need for the receiving party to press any buttons.
