How to Use Intercom on Grandstream Phones

The intercom feature allows for direct communication between two phones, and it needs to be enabled by our support team before use.

Step 1: Requesting Intercom Setup

The intercom feature must be requested and enabled within the system. You can also ask our support team to create a dedicated button for this intercom code on your Grandstream phone. Please contact Vantact Support by emailing support@vantact.com or calling (416) 342-1690 (option 2 for support) to set up the intercom feature.

Step 2: Using the Intercom

Once the feature is enabled:

  1. The person initiating the intercom call will dial the designated intercom code.
  2. For Grandstream phones, the call will automatically answer, allowing immediate communication without the need for the receiving party to press any buttons.
