Ensure your softphone application is provisioned with us before proceeding. If not, follow the tutorial on How to Connect Your Softphone App.
Open the VANTACT Softphone App:
- Launch the VANTACT Softphone app on your device.
Navigate to Settings:
- Click on Settings in the app interface.
Access Preferences:
- Select Preferences from the menu.
Set Do Not Disturb (DND) Hours:
- Choose Do Not Disturb from the options.
Add New Schedule:
- Click on the "+" sign to add a new schedule.
Adjust Time Sliders:
Drag the sliders to define your desired time range. The blue area indicates when the app will not ring or disturb you.
To specify not being disturbed during regular business hours, adjust the top slider to 09:00 and the bottom slider to 17:00.
To allow the phone to ring only during specific hours (e.g., business hours), swap the positions of the sliders. Move the bottom slider to the top and the top slider to the bottom.
Save Your Settings:
- Once you've set your preferred time range, select Save to apply the changes.
Select Days for the Rule:
Choose the days of the week to which this schedule applies. For example, select weekdays for business hours.
Confirm your selection by clicking Save again.
These settings ensure that your VANTACT Softphone app rings according to your specified hours of operation, optimizing your availability and productivity.
