How to Setup Zoiper Softphone for Vantact on Your Mobile

Vantact supports seamless integration with a variety of applications across different operating systems, enabling users to connect to their extensions, manage calls, voicemails, and settings directly from their smartphones. Here’s a guide specifically for setting up Zoiper Softphone to work with Vantact's PBX.

  1. Download the Zoiper Softphone Application:

  2. Retrieve Your Credentials:

    • Contact support@Vantact.ca to obtain your login credentials necessary for configuring Zoiper Softphone with your Vantact PBX.
  3. Configure Zoiper Softphone:

    • After downloading and installing the Zoiper Softphone app, launch it on your smartphone.
    • Click on the settings icon
    • Click on Accounts

    • Click on the + symbol to add a new account

    • When asked if you already have an account, select "Yes."
       
    • Select Manual configuration
       
    • Select Creating a new account as SIP account

    • Follow these steps to input your Vantact PBX account details:
      • Account Name: Your extension number.
      • Domain: Enter your PBX domain or server address provided by Vantact.
      • User Name: Your extension number.
      • Password: Your SIP registration password
      • Caller ID: Your extension number.
      • Auth Username: Your extension number.

    • Click on Register

    • You should get a Registration Status: OK

    • You should get a Ready message below your extension number.

  4. Testing and Usage:

    • Make a test call to ensure everything is set up correctly. You should be able to make and receive calls using your Vantact extension through the Zoiper Softphone app.
