How to Park a Call on Grandstream Phones

Parking a call allows you to place a call on hold in a designated "Park Orbit" so that other users can retrieve it from their phones. Here’s how to park a call using Grandstream phones.

1. Parking a Call

To park a call, follow these steps:

  • Using the Park Button:

    • If your Grandstream phone has a dedicated Park button, simply press it while on the call.


  • Using the Star Code:

    • Alternatively, you can park a call by dialing *85 followed by the Park Orbit number.
      • For example, to park a call in Park Orbit 101, you would dial *85101.

2. Important Notes

  • Make sure you inform the party you are speaking with that you are parking the call, so they know what to expect.
  • Ensure you know the Park Orbit number, as it will be needed when retrieving the call.
