How to Install and Configure VANTACT Desktop Application

Connect your extension using VANTACT's SoftPhone Desktop Application:

1. Download and Install:

   • Download the VANTACT Desktop Application from the provided link.
   • Run the installer. If you encounter a notice from Windows Defender about an Unknown Publisher, click on "More Info" and then "Run Anyways" to proceed with the installation.

2. Launch the Application:

   • After installation completes, go to your Start Menu and click on the VANTACT Application Icon to launch it.

3. Retrieve Credentials:

   • Visit https://portal.vantact.com and log in with your credentials.
   • Navigate to the PHONE SYSTEM TAB and click on Manage PBX.
   • Select Settings under the desired extension.
   • Click on Advanced to view additional settings.

4. Configure the VANTACT Desktop Application:

   • Return to the VANTACT Desktop application and enter the following information:
     • Portal: Enter your domain address.
     • Extension: Enter your extension/account number.
     • Password: Use your portal password (not Registration).

5. Save Settings:

   • Click Save to apply the settings.

6. Start Using the Application:

   • You should now be able to use the VANTACT Desktop Application for your softphone needs.
