How to enable SIP traffic logging on Cloud Softphone

Setting up SIP traffic logging

  1. Open Cloud softphone:

    • Access settings by selecting the three dots or gear icon at the top right 
    • Three dots at top right for Android
    • Gear icon at top right for IOS

    • Select "Settings"



  2. Toggle on SIP traffic logging:

    • Select preferences


    • Scroll down and toggle the "Log SIP traffic" option


    • Once the toggle is green the SIP traffic will be actively logged


  3. Sharing SIP traffic log:

    • At the settings page (1 page back before accessing preferences) you will now see the "SIP log" option available
    • Click into the "SIP Log" option
    • Click the three dots in the top right 
    • Select Share and send the file to the email address support@vantact.com



  4. Toggle off SIP traffic logging:

    • Navigate to settings and preferences as outlined prior
    • Toggle off the "Log SIP traffic" option


If you have followed all these steps, you will have successfully started sip traffic logging, sent the sip traffic log file to support. and they can now begin further analyzing and troubleshooting any potential issues.
