How to Edit Your Extension Information

To update your extension details, follow these steps:

  1. Log In:

  2. Access Phone System Settings:

    • Click on the PHONE SYSTEM tab.
    • Select Manage PBX.
  3. Select and Edit Your Extension:

    • Choose your extension and click on Settings.
  4. Update Extension Information:

    • First Name: Enter the first name for the extension.
    • Last Name: Enter the last name for the extension.
    • Block Outgoing Caller-ID: Enable this option to hide your number when calling out.
    • Do-Not-Disturb (DND): Enable this option to block incoming calls from reaching you.
    • Cell Phone Number: Enter your cell phone number for call forwarding and other integration features. Do not use hyphens or parentheses.
    • Call Forward All Calls: Forward all calls to the specified number. Do not use hyphens or parentheses.
    • Call Forward When Busy: Forward calls to the specified number if your extension is busy. Do not use hyphens or parentheses.
    • Call Forward on No Answer: Forward calls to the specified number if not answered on your desk phone or app. Do not use hyphens or parentheses.
    • Offer Special Menu on Cell Phone Answer: Enable a special menu when answering calls from your cell phone. You will be notified of the caller and need to press 1 to accept the call. Hang up to send the call to voicemail.
    • Cell Phone Calls to PBX: Configure how calls from your cell phone to the PBX are handled. You will be greeted with a different message for quick access to voicemail and calling options. Disable this to route calls directly to the main greeting.
    • Email Address: Enter your email to receive notifications from your PBX, reset your password, and receive voicemails.
    • Send Email on Missed Calls: Receive an email notification for each missed call if your email is entered.
    • Send Mailbox Message by Email: Receive voicemail messages in WAV format via email if your email is entered.
  5. Save Changes:

    • Ensure all the information is accurate and save your changes.
