How to Deploy Vantact SoftPhone Lite on Windows

Download and Install:

• Download the Vantact SoftPhone Lite for Windows from Link.
• Once downloaded, run the installer.
• If you see a notice from Windows Defender about an Unknown Publisher, click on "More Info" and then "Run Anyway" to proceed.

Starting the Application:

• After installation, locate and open "VANTACT Softphone" from your Start Menu.

Configuring Your Account:

• Click on Settings in the top right corner of the Softphone interface.
• Click Add Account.

Retrieve Your Credentials:

• If you don't know your credentials, follow these steps:
  • Visit https://portal.vantact.com and log in.
  • 
    
  • Navigate to the PHONE SYSTEM TAB and click on Manage PBX.

  • Click on Settings under the desired extension.
  • 
    
  • Click on Advanced to find your extension's settings.

Enter Account Information:

• In the Vantact Softphone settings:
  • Account Name: Your extension number.
  • SIP Server: Domain from your extension's Advanced Settings.
  • SIP Proxy: Leave blank.
  • Username: Your extension number.
  • Domain: Domain from your extension's Advanced Settings.
  • Login: Leave blank.
  • Password: SIP Password from your extension's Advanced Settings.
  • Display Name: Your extension number.
  • Voicemail Number: Your extension number.
  • Media Encryption: Disabled.
  • Transport: Auto.
  • Public Address: Auto.
  • Publish Presence: Checked.
  • ICE: Unchecked.
  • Allow IP Rewrite: Unchecked.
  • Disable Session Timers: Unchecked.
• Click Save to apply the settings.

Start Using Your Softphone:

• You should now be able to use your Vantact SoftPhone Lite to make and receive calls. Enjoy!
