Instructions have slight differences for Apple devices and Android devices.
Apple
Open Chrome and navigate to the messaging website:
- Enter text.vantact.com into the search field
- Hit enter and ensure the website loads properly
Create the shortcut:
- Select the share button (the square with an arrow pointing up)
- Scroll through the options until you find Add to Home Screen
- Select Add to Home Screen
- Enter the name you would like the shortcut to have on your home screen
- Select Add once you are satisfied with the shortcut name
- Select the share button (the square with an arrow pointing up)
Verify creation:
- Navigate back to your home screen
- The shortcut should now be found among your other applications
Start Using the shortcut:
- You should now be able to use the shortcut you created for your messaging needs.
- You should now be able to use the shortcut you created for your messaging needs.
Android
Open Chrome and navigate to the messaging website:

- Select the three dots on the top right, this will open up the 'More'/Chrome menu
- Scroll through the options until you find Add to Home Screen
- Select Add to Home Screen
- Enter the name you would like the shortcut to have on your home screen
- Select Add once you are satisfied with the shortcut name
- Select Add to create the widget which will serve as a shortcut on your home screen.
Note that system default widget size is 1 x 1
- Select the three dots on the top right, this will open up the 'More'/Chrome menu
Verify Creation:
- Navigate back to your home screen
- The shortcut should now be found among your other applications

- You should now be able to use the shortcut you created for your messaging needs.
- You should now be able to use the shortcut you created for your messaging needs.
