Phone Features

Call Return (*69)

The Call Return feature (*69) allows you to automatically redial the number of the last call you received. This feature is particularly useful for quickly responding to missed calls. Here are the key details and usage notes for Call Return:

How to Use Call Return:

  • To use Call Return, simply dial *69. The system will automatically dial the number of the last call you received.
  • The number will be available for redial until a call is successfully established, not necessarily connected. This helps prevent you from accidentally calling the same person twice. For instance, if you dial *69 and hang up while the phone is still ringing, you won't be able to access that number again unless the caller rings again.

Important Notes:

  • External Mailboxes: If your Call Return connects to an external mailbox, the system treats it as a successful call and clears the number from memory.
  • Internal Extensions: If you reach the mailbox of another extension within the system, the Call Return number will not be cleared, allowing you to attempt to reach that extension again by dialing *69.
  • Caller-ID Requirement: The system only stores Call Return numbers for calls that include a valid caller-ID. Without this, the Call Return feature won't function.
  • Shared Extensions: Telephones that share the same extension number will also share the same redial and Call Return number.

Additional Tip:

  • You can also use the Call Log to dial the last number received, providing an alternative method for returning calls.

By understanding and utilizing the Call Return feature, you can ensure that you never miss an important call again. If you have any further questions or need assistance, please feel free to contact our support team.
