The Call Forward on No Answer feature allows users to redirect calls to another number if their extension does not answer after a specified period. This feature is often used to forward calls to an assistant or a secondary phone to ensure important calls are not missed.
How to Activate Call Forward on No Answer:
- Dial *75 and press the confirm button on the telephone keypad.
- Enter the call forwarding number when prompted.
- Press the pound key (#). The system will repeat the number and then disconnect. To change the forwarding number, simply dial *75 again and follow the prompts.
How to Deactivate Call Forward on No Answer:
- Dial *76.
- The announcement will indicate that call forwarding has been turned off.
Additional Information:
- The duration before forwarding the call is determined by the "Call forward on no answer timeout" setting in the web interface.
- This setting works in conjunction with the voicemail timeout. If the voicemail timeout occurs before the no-answer timeout, the call will go to voicemail instead.
- Both the no-answer timeout and voicemail timeout can be set at the domain level, but users can override these settings.
By configuring the Call Forward on No Answer feature, you can ensure that all calls are appropriately redirected, maintaining seamless communication. For any further assistance or questions, please contact our support team.
