Audio Problems with Browser-Based Portal Logins


If you're encountering audio issues with our web-based portal, here are steps to resolve common problems:

  1. Allow Browser Notifications:

    • Upon first login, the portal may request permission to enable browser notifications. Ensure you allow these notifications to receive incoming calls.
  2. Allowing Notifications in Different Browsers:

    Chrome:

    • Click on the lock icon in the browser bar to view site information.
    • Ensure both Microphone and Notifications are set to allow.

    Edge:

    • Similarly, click on the lock icon and adjust settings to allow Microphone and Notifications.

    Firefox:

    • Access site information via the lock icon and enable Microphone and Notifications.
  3. Adjust Volume Settings:

    • Check the volume levels on your operating system to ensure they are adequate.
    • Verify that your browser has permission to access the sound profiles of the operating system.
  4. Select Correct Playback and Recording Devices:

    • If you use multiple devices (e.g., internal laptop speakers, headset), ensure the correct playback and recording devices are selected in your system settings.
  5. Additional Tips:

    • If you previously blocked notifications or denied access, revisit site settings to re-enable them.
