Softphone App: How to specify hours of operation

How to specify which hours of operation your softphone app will ring.

Note: This tutorial requires that you have the softphone application provisioned with us already. If you did not do that, please follow this tutorial: How to connect your softphone app.

Open our softphone app on your phone.

1. Click on Settings

Vantact Softphone app

2. Select "Preferences"

 

3. Select "Do Not Disturb"

4. Select the Add "+" sign

5. Drag the sliders to your desired time range. The blue portion represents when the application will not ring, or bother you. If you would like to not be bothered during regular business hours, you may slide the top slider to 09:00 and the bottom slider to 17:00. If you would like to have the phone ring only during a certain period of time, for example only during business hours, you need to take the top slide

If you would like to have the phone ring only during a certain period of time, for example only during business hours, you need to cross the sliders. Effectively moving the bottom slider to the top position, and the top slider to the bottom. This is seen in the picture below. In the example below, you will only receive calls between 9:00am and 5:00pm. 

Select save when you are satisfied with your selection.

6. Select the days you would like to have this rule applied to. In the example below, the rule above will only apply during the days selected.

Select Save.
