How to edit your extension information

Visit https://portal.vantact.com  and enter your log-in information.

Click on the PHONE SYSTEM tab and then on Manage PBX

Select your extension and click on Settings

First Name: This is the extension's first name

Last Name: This is the extension's last name

Block outgoing caller-ID: This option will not show you number when calling out.

Do-No-Disturb (DND): This option will block incoming calls from reaching you.

Cell phone number: Enter your cell phone number in order to forward calls to your cell as well as being able to record your main greeting, among many features where your cell phone can be integrated with your system.

Call forward all calls: All calls to this extension will be sent directly to the entered number. Do not use any hyphens or parentheses in this field. 

Call forward when busy to the destination entered: Call forward all calls to the destination if your extension is busy. Do not use any hyphens or parentheses in this field. 

Call forward on no answer to: Call forward if the call is not answered on your desk phone or app to the destination entered. Do not use any hyphens or parentheses in this field. 

Offer special menu when a call is answered on cell phone: A special menu is offered when you receive a call from the system to your cell phone. You will be notified of the person calling you, and you will need to press 1 in order to accept the call. If you do not wish to answer this call, simply hang up and it will go to your voicemail.

When the cell calls the PBX: When calling your IVR, you will be greeted with a different message that allows you to quickly access your voicemail, your outside calling options, etc. You may disable this, and your calls will be sent directly to the main greeting. Note that you need to have your cell phone added to the "Cell phone number" field prior to enabling this option.

Email address: Enter your email in order to receive notification from your PBX. Including, being able to reset your password, receive your voicemails directly to your email, etc.

Send email on missed calls: If you have entered your email in the "email address field" you will be able to receive an email after you miss each call.

Send a mailbox message by email: If you have entered your email in the "email address" field, you will be able to receive your messages directly to your email . These files will be in WAV format, and should be playable by most modern phones.
